IISFA Affiliation Procedures
To be eligible for affiliation with IISFA,
your group must meet the following requirements:
- You have a minimum of eight (8) qualified IISFA
candidates.
This minimum must be maintained each
year in order to be considered an active chapter. To be
approved for a chapter, individuals must demonstrate that a
majority of its prospective chapter members are currently
involved in the Information Security Profession or related
programs, and are eligible for IISFA membership under the
eligibility requirements outlined below.
- Students enrolled in the equivalent of at least six
(6) credit hours per term in a degree-seeking program.
- Industry Professional Computer Security, Information
Systems Management, Information Technology studies,
supports a demonstrated interest in Information System
Forensics.
- Verification of student eligibility is required by the
chapter advisor.
- You have appointed a Chapter Officer
The
Chapter officer is elected by its prospective candidates and
becomes the official point of contact for the chapter and
will be responsible for ensuring the chapter?s continuity
from year to year. There is a special dues rate for chapter
officers.
- You have submitted an official IISFA membership
form
